The colon is a part of the bodyís digestive system, and is responsible for several different tasks that need to be carried out during the digestion process. Such tasks include extracting minerals and vitamins from food that cannot be digested, removing any solid waste from the body, and processing food that cannot be digested by the small intestine. That being said, the colon can start to function incorrectly, which results in it absorbing harmful toxins rather than getting rid of them. Colon cleansing refers to treatments and other solutions which removes these harmful toxins from the colon, and also helps healthy intestinal bacteria to flourish.

There are oils out there which can contain unhealthy characteristics; these characteristics can inflict negative effects onto our bodies, and in certain cases, cause actual harm as well. For example, vegetable oils contain a high amount of trans fats (i.e. unsaturated fats which solidify once room temperature is reached). While it is possible to consume trans fats, itís not recommended as they are known to increase the risk of being affected by coronary heart disease; this is primarily due to the fact that they increase LDL (bad cholesterol) levels, whilst lowering HDL (good cholesterol) levels.

While shop-bought salads might look healthy enough, itís entirely possible for them to be more unhealthy than you might think. Even though these salads often contain healthy vegetables such as lettuce and tomatoes, the health benefits are often offset by hidden fats or high calorie content. The culprit behind these hidden fats and high amounts of calories are often fatty salad dressings that are common in shop-bought salads, such as mayonnaise.

As humans, we tend to look for the so-called ďeasy way outĒ in a lot of situations. If thereís an easier way of doing something, weíll often do that instead of using a more tiresome method. This is often better, since it means that we can be more efficient at getting things done, but when it comes to exercise, this can have the opposite effect! Itís always important to push yourself when exercising, as this is the only way of making your fitness improve at a good rate. Why not start by pushing yourself a little bit at a time? For example, walk up a small hill or two on your daily walk, or try jogging around your regular walking route instead of walking around it; stepping your routine up a little bit at a time can really help improve your fitness level. Remember that if youíre struggling with your workouts, you can always try our ZMA Rest & Recovery supplement to give you that extra boost of energy.

Itís often easier to think that the grass is always greener on the other side, but hear me out; changing your outlook on life can do wonders! For example, we sometimes tend to assume the worst, whether that be about how weíre going to do at a job interview, or whatever. After all, it seems natural to think this way since we wonít get our hopes up or set our expectations high. Unfortunately, if you take this sort of attitude, youíre setting yourself up to fail! Instead of saying that you canít do something, why not say to yourself that you can do it or that youíll at least try your best to make you want to happen come true? Who knows? You might just wish you had!

Having confidence is a positive attitude in whatever youíre doing, with an awareness of your strengths, self-worth and an ability to convey that to others. The confident person walks a line between arrogance and negativity or lack of self-worth. Being confident can bring so many benefits to both your personal and working life.
To understand how to be more confident, itís crucial to know what a lack of confidence actually is, what causes it and how it manifests itself - in order to do something about it.
